Fast support, but terrible extension! It doesn't work to prevent malware from malicious sites and is very slow. The extension should be updated weekly, if not monthly. It works alongside Bitdefender. If you don't have Bitdefender, you'll experience the following issues: I tested this extension with the EICAR malware test site. The extension showed that the site was malicious a few seconds later. However, you need to have the Bitdefender antivirus client installed on your PC. Without the client, the extension doesn't prevent infection. In other words, I had already been "infected" even though TrafficLight said it was blocked. This was tested on several Windows 10 and Windows 11 systems, running on virtual machines and actual consumer desktops (not Enterprise). Bitdefender TrafficLight's extension description fails to mention that you need to have the Bitdefender client installed. Only after contacting support do they inform you that this works alongside the Bitdefender client; hence, no protection without the client. The extension has a list of sites (largely based on Google's list) and flags or blocks them. You can't block domains, only individual websites. For instance, the domain *.xyz is a malicious domain, but TrafficLight does not give the user the option to block it. If it's a fairly new domain, and Bitdefender TrafficLight fails to detect and block it. In summary, beware of sophists' reviews, especially those written like ads. This extension is like a vehicle's laser radar detector: only after you are hit is there a reaction, sometimes not at all. Not recommended. Yet, foolish and gullible people think it works on its own. Uninstalled.

Response to the comment 9/5/24: Tl;dr The extension blocks access to infected websites (Not 100% of the time) and prevents users from downloading infected files (Again Not 100%). Thank you to the commenter for pointing out the exceptions. To test the integrity of the extension, I visited the eicar.org website and tried to download the infected files. Bitdefender stopped me from doing so. Next, I visited wicar.org, and Bitdefender flagged the site on Google search results. When I clicked on the website, I could see the page for a split second before Bitdefender shut it down. I then visited ikarussecurity.com and was able to download the Eicar test file from there. This time, Bitdefender didn't stop the download nor flag the website. I had to manually scan my system with their free Bitdefender app (on the Apple app store) to find and remove the test file. All these websites test the antivirus product and use harmless test files (according to their claim) I posted this in detail because transparency is crucial. I will continue to use the extension because it's an added protection. However, it will not be a replacement for good internet habits. I hope this helps. Best of luck! Old comment that was downvoted: It is a must have extension while browsing the web. It doesn't affect the browser speed while giving you the best internet security against malware. BitDefender is consistently rated as the best security software according to AV test. (An independent IT security testing company which you can google about). 10/10.

EDIT: 3.2.5 seems to resolve. Version 3.2.4 includes CSS which overrides all website's fonts: html, body { font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', 'Roboto', system-ui; } Please fix ASAP. Checked it is this extension by manually disabling all until re-enabling this adds this css back in. Otherwise fine. Does as advertised.

(On Chrome) : NO ✅-indicators, warning BEFOREHAND, of safe and non-safe websites. I think my antivirus does all the work.

It's not showing signs beside search results anymore

This extension is useless and does nothing. Just add UBO and Privacy Badger and get more.

Extension isn't updated frequently , also realtime detection & blocking of new malicious websites & phising & scam & bad websites needs huge amount of overall improvement

Installed this a while ago, now it's not even being updated and it lags out many graphic based sites. do not recommend.

Fast support, terrible extension. Doesn't work to prevent malware from malicious sites. It's very slow and IT HASN"T BEEN UPDATED SINCE SUMMER 2022! Extension should be updated weekly if not monthly. I tested this extension with eicar malware test site. The extension showed that the site was malicious a few seconds later. Little did I know you need to have the Bitwarden Anti-virus client installed on your PC (more on this later). Extension doesn't prevent infection without the client installed. Taken at face value, this extension is supposed to block the attack BEFORE it gets into my system. In other words, I had already been "infected" even though Trafficlight says it was blocked, but in reality it wasn’t. This was tested on several W10 &W11 systems, running on virtual machines and actual consumer desktops (not Enterprise). Bitwarden Traffic extenstion description fails to mention that you need to have Bitdefender client installed. Only after you reach out to support do they say this works alongside the Bitdefender client (installed on your PC); hence, no protection without the client. Extension has a list of sites (which is largely based on Google's list) and then flags or blocks them. You can't block domains, only individual websites. For instance domain *.xyz is a malicious domain but Trafficlight does not give the user the option to block it. It's a fairly new domain and Bitdefender Trafficlight fails to detect and block this domain. Extension hasn't been updated since August. For malware preventions, this is unacceptable. In summary, beware of sophist's reviews especially reviews written like ads. This extension is like a vehicle laser radar detectors . Only AFTER you are hit is there a reaction, sometimes not at all. Not recommended. Yet foolish and gullible people think it works otherwise. Uninstalled.
